A digital investment platform named Bitpanda had recently launched a visa debit card that allows customers to switch among multiple assets such as cryptocurrencies, fiat currencies, and precious metals to fund payments.
The Vienna, Austria-based firm has said on Wednesday that it is the world’s first card like this. The card can be linked to any assets of any portfolio of users, which can be chosen from the company’s app.

Bitpanda CEO and co-founder Eric Demuth said: “We wanted to build a product that is missing in the market by asking ourselves why it wasn’t possible to spend your investments at any time you want.”
The card will allow its user to shop online and in stores globally. And payments can be done through Google Pay and Samsung Pay. The firm said, Transactions are processed instantly and real-time push notifications are sent to users when the card is used.
People of the European Union can start applying for the card.
