Bottlepay, a startup of bitcoins payment has secured £11 million
Bottlepay, the bitcoin payment platform has announced on Tuesday that they have secured £11 million in a seed funding round. The company said that it will use the money to expand its team by 60%, increase its international reach, and improve its functionality.
The app has plans to add a feature that will allow the users to pay internationally using bitcoins and normal currency. And users will also be able as small as a penny amount through messages on Twitter, Reddit, Discord.

The app Bottlepay was launched on Feb 10 and has a Lightning Network scaling solution, which enables cheaper and faster bitcoin transactions.
The round had participants including Alan Howard, founder of hedge fund manager Brevan Howard; Goldman Sachs partners; venture capital firm FinTech Collective; digital assets firm NYDIG; and entrepreneur Phil Doye.
CEO Mark Webster of the company has said that this is the first step of an ambition that will take this app to a new level.
