Simon Taylor

Let’s start by asking ourselves a simple question.

Is digital really digital or is it just a representation of analog systems in a digital form?

If you come to think about it, then you will see that most of the digital systems are not at all digital and are just a digital form of all the analogue systems, let’s take an example of a trading card collection, we can trade cards on the internet but, is it really digital? No, it is not, you will have to possess the original physical trading card to actually demonstrate its value digitally. These are the limitations of the traditional internet, according to me you can still just talk over the internet, you can just transfer information on the internet that’s it.

You may ask, this is a cryptocurrency blog then why are we discussing this here. Well, I will answer this question with another question…Is currency or money actually digital, the balance you see when you log into your “Internet banking” accounts? Is it actually digital? Think for yourself.

Simply, that’s not the case with Non-fungible tokens, art, trading cards and in that case the currency, The elephant in the room, The cryptocurrencies like bitcoin, Ethereum and other numerous altcoins. They are the real digital form of asset that actually holds value digitally on this planet, An actual global digital value.
