A hacker is refusing to give the password of his seized wallet

A German hacker who has served 2 years in jail has refused to give the password of his seized wallet containing over 1,700 bitcoin worth at least $64.7 million at today’s prices.

Reportedly, he is refusing to give the password and the authorities are not able to open it. The hacker was sentenced to an over two-year prison term for installing software on other people’s computers without permission in order to mine cryptocurrency.
Now, his sentence is completed but he is refusing to give the password after many requests.

Prosecutor Sebastian Murer has said, “We asked him but he didn’t say, perhaps he doesn’t know.”
