MicroStrategy is hiring for its new blockchain project
After investing Bitcoins now MicroStrategy is building a team of blockchain analysts. It will be the company’s first bitcoin-related software product whose CEO Michael Saylor believes in bitcoins and bought 71,079 bitcoins.
The company has posted on Linkedin on Friday looking for a Blockchain Data Analyst and Blockchain Data Engineer and also said in the job description that they will join a team building an analytics platform with advanced metrics and insights for Bitcoin.
The firm has hinted to launch a blockchain data project last November and also said that they have a plan to hire a team for it. But did not mention any other detail of the project at that time.
However, Saylor has been really vocal about the bad data for bitcoin. In October he said that the garbage data is holding bitcoins back. He said that where will you find an asset which has so much potential but have so bad data.
By looking at the positions open we can draw a rough image of what the project will be it can be a commercialized intelligence offering for digital assets beyond just bitcoin.
The engineer would be responsible to develop software that will turn troves of data into visualizations that can be shared with broader audiences.
