MicroStrategy the biggest supporter of bitcoin has again announced that they will be purchasing more bitcoins. On Tuesday the firm said that it intends to offer a $600 million aggregate principal amount of convertible senior notes due 2027.
In August 2020, the firm has first bought bitcoins using its treasury funds, and since it just kept on adding the cryptocurrency. Now the amount invested in bitcoins is more than $3.5 billion and said to be they are planning to increase it further.
The company said it will grant the purchasers an option to buy an additional $90 million, making the total potential offering $690 million.
On Tuesday the firm’s share was trading at around 5% lower.
