On Thursday, the CEO of Uber Dara Khosrowshahi said on CNBC that the company is planning to accept cryptocurrencies including bitcoins as a payment.
He also said that the company is looking into these options and will do it if find any benefit in doing it.
He also denied that Uber will buy bitcoin from its cash reserves like Tesla, he said they are going to keep the cash safe.
Since October 2019, Uber has been a member of the libra stable coin association.
